Chicago Taco & Tequila Fest

Written By: Jessie White

Warm weather has finally decided to visit and stay in Chicago for a while and with these warmer months comes the much anticipated festival season. With countless food, music, and drink festivals it can be a little overwhelming to actually choose one! However, the 2019 festival season has brought us a brand new addition that you may just need to check out if you’re visiting Chicago this June. This festival combines two elements that can catch the eye of many travelers: tacos and tequila.

The Taco and Tequila Fest takes place in Lincoln Park at 2491 N Cannon Drive. The fest takes place just steps from Diversey Harbor in the scenic Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago’s Northside.

Ready to grab a margarita and enjoy all of the tacos that Chicago has to offer? Head over to the festival on Saturday, June 15th at any point between 11 am and 9 pm (that’s 10 hours of sweet agave and tacos, baby!) Make sure you don’t miss the exclusive tasting session from 3 pm to 6 pm!

Tacos and tequila will be celebrating their beautiful friendship with the all new Taco & Tequila Festival this June. When you enter the festival you will be greeted with a 12 oz. margarita which is a part of your ticket to the festival. Once inside you will be encouraged to enjoy margarita flights, art vendors, a three-hour tequila tasting, live music, and of course, all of the tacos that you may desire during your Tour de’ Tequila.

General Admission is just $10 and includes a 12 oz. margarita upon arrival.

If you consider yourself a tequila connoisseur of sorts, you may want to check out the Tequila Tasting tickets for $40 to take part in the Tasting Session! The tasting session gives you access to 12 tickets to over 20 tequila vendors as well as mixologist guide on the best way to prepare your agave based drinks!

This event is for individuals 21+ and requires a ticket purchase prior to arrival. Get your tickets soon as tons of Chicagoans are checking this festival out!
