This spring, explore your wild side at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo, where you’ll find plenty of family-fun activities and adult-only events. Read below to see what’s happening this season, and where you should stay!
Chicago Wine Fest
The Chicago Wine Fest will return to the zoo for its second year, this April 14. The fest includes great food (at an additional cost), live entertainment and wine varietals from around the world. Visitors can choose to attend one of three sessions. Session times are at noon, 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. General admission is $35 and VIP admission is $60 per ticket. VIP ticket holders are granted an hour of early access to tastings and representatives who can answer questions during your experience. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
Zoo-ologie 2018: Walk on the Wild Side
In celebration of Lincoln Park Zoo’s 150th anniversary, the zoo will be hosting an upscale cocktail party event on May 12 called, “Zoo-ologie 2018: Walk on the Wild Side.” At Zoo-ologie, enjoy live music, drinks from an open bar and plenty of small bites at a variety of food stations. Tickets go on sale April 3, with general admission starting at $110 per ticket. Guests can add on the “Explorer Experience” for an additional $50, which includes early access, a hands-on animal experience in the Small Reptile House and more. Mother’s Day Brunch
Treat your mother to something special this spring and visit the Lincoln Park Zoo on Sunday, May 13 for Mother’s Day Brunch. Brunch is at the zoo’s Café Brauer and includes 2 hours of live music and incredible breakfast food. Mothers will receive one complimentary mimosa and can choose from three seatings- 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Adult tickets (13+ yrs.) are $45 each, children (1-12 yrs.) tickets are $20 each and tiny tots (12 months & younger) are free. Food Truck Social
On May 19, indulge in grilled cheese, doughnuts, pizza, tacos and more at the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Food Truck Social. From 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., guests can roam the zoo after-hours, listen to live music and experience Chicago’s finest food truck eats. Event admission costs $10 and more details can be found on the zoo’s event page.
